Welcome to CityGame: Travel Friend ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy notice, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use the CityGame mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or otherwise when you contact us.

• Personal Data: When you sign up, we collect your email address, display name, and optional profile picture.
• Location Data: We request access to track your location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application, to provide certain location-based services (like verifying you are at a specific stop to complete a challenge).
• Camera and Photos: We request access to your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to take and share photos to the Feed.
• User-Generated Content: We collect and store photos and text you choose to upload to our servers for the public Feed feature.
• Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the App (e.g., device characteristics, operating system, and app usage metrics) to improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:

• To facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To provide and maintain our Service, including monitoring the usage of our Service.
• To manage your account and provide customer support.
• To protect our Services, for example, by enforcing our Terms of Use and moderating User-Generated Content to prevent abuse and harassment.

3. How We Share Your Information

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We use third-party service providers such as Google Firebase for authentication, database hosting, and file storage. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. You can do this directly within the App by navigating to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information (such as secure Firebase infrastructure). While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.

Terms of Use & Content Policy

Welcome to CityGame: Travel Friend. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and CityGame concerning your access to and use of our mobile application. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

2. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

CityGame allows users to share photos and experiences to a public 'Feed'. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all travelers, we strictly enforce the following UGC guidelines:

• Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content: You agree not to post, upload, or share any content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate. We have absolutely zero tolerance for such content.
• No Illegal Activity: Content promoting illegal acts, violence, self-harm, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited.
• Intellectual Property: You must own the rights to any photos or content you upload to the Feed. Do not post copyrighted material without permission.

3. Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking

To maintain community standards, we provide robust tools for users to control their experience:

• Reporting Mechanism: Users can flag or report any objectionable post at any time directly from the Feed using the "Options" menu on a post.
• Blocking Users: If you encounter an abusive user, you can block them instantly. Once blocked, you will no longer see any content generated by that user.
• Developer Enforcement: Our moderation team reviews reported content and accounts within 24 hours. We act swiftly to remove violating content.

4. Account Suspension and Termination

Any violation of this Content Policy or these Terms of Use will result in immediate consequences. We reserve the right to remove any objectionable content without notice and to permanently ban or suspend the account of any user who engages in prohibited behavior.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

The App is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy of route information or continuous availability of the app. CityGame shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
